Scorebook Live’s Dan Dickau visits with Shaw Anderson, senior at Kelso High School.  Shaw may be the most under-appreciated player in the entire state.   He’s already signed with D-2 Seattle Pacific University where his versatility will be a welcome addition to Grant Leep’s ballclub. Just recently scored a Kelso-school record 48 points vs Evergreen breaking the old record held by his coach, Joe Kinch.

How would you describe your game?

Smooth and unselfish.

What are your goals for the season, both individually and as a team?

Team: Get back to the Tacoma Dome

Individually: 2,000 points

How would you describe your coach?

Winner/tough.

Who is your favorite player?

James Harden

Who is the toughest matchup of season and why?

Timberline, they play with an edge, energy and every game they bring it.

What is your favorite gym in state to play in?

Kelso High School

What are your aspirations as a player?

Play basketball professionally.
