Watch: Prairie celebrates berth in Washington 3A girls basketball state championship game

Kendyl Carson scored 23 points and Cassidy Gardner added 21 as the Prairie Falcons outlasted Kamiakin 67-62 in overtime on Friday to advance to the 3A girls basketball state championship game.

Oumou Toure, who went the game into overtime with a last-second basket, had 18 points and 11 rebounds for Kamiakin. Alexa Hazel added 20 points and 9 rebounds.

Prairie will play the winner of the Garfield-Mt. Spokane semifinal on Saturday at 3 p.m.
