Girls Basketball

4A, 3A girls finals predictions: Will Jacinta Buckley lead Lewis & Clark to the 4A girls state championship?

The 3A girls basketball bracket has mostly gone “chalk.”

The 4A bracket? Not so much.

With championship Saturday upon us, the two Washington large school girls basketball title games look very different. No. 1 Prairie and No. 2 Mt. Spokane will square off in the 3A girls championship, a matchup many people expected. All four top seeds made it through to the 3A semifinals.

The 4A bracket has been filled with upsets. No. 8 Eastlake will face No. 3 Lewis & Clark in the 4A girls championship, a matchup few people anticipated. No. 1 Woodinville and No. 4 Central Valley were knocked off in the quarterfinals, and No. 2 Kentridge was steamrolled in the semis. It has been a wild week.
