Highlights: Prairie rallies past Mt. Spokane to win 2019 3A Washington girls basketball state championship

Senior center Brooke Walling scored 17 points and Prairie’s defense held Mt. Spokane to just nine second-half points as the Falcons captured the 3A Washington state girls basketball championship Saturday with a come-from-behind 37-35 win over the Wildcats.

Prairie, the No. 1 seed, trailed 26-19 at halftime before rallying to take a 32-31 lead entering the fourth quarter. Mt. Spokane could not buy a bucket from the outside as they finished just 4-for-27 from the 3-point line. Jayda Noble led the Wildcats with 12 points and 20 rebounds.
