Washington high school baseball playoffs scores, updates: Olympia upsets Skyline, advances to 4A state semifinals

The Olympia Bears broke out the bats Saturday, using a potent offense to advance to the Washington 4A high school baseball state semifinals.

Olympia upset No. 1 ranked Skyline 8-6 in a round of 16 game Saturday morning, then came back in the afternoon and blanked Federal Way 8-0. The Bears will play Issaquah in the semifinals on Friday, May 24 in Pasco.

Skyview and Moses Lake will play in the other 4A semifinal.

In the 3A baseball playoffs, O’Dea, Capital, Gig Harbor and Lake Washington advanced to the semifinals.
